I am taking Cartesian coordinates from my IanniX score and using them to drive a polar-based spatialization system in Pd. The scaling seems quite strange to me and I think I am missing something very basic.
I get that one grid = 1 sec by default. My Y axis yields a minuscule range, though. I’d like to scale it -1 to 1 is possible.
How do I do that? Thanks again!
Hey,
i know its probably a very basic thing but i would like to change the pitch and duration of a trigger. So far the pitch seems to be connected with the x/y position. Where can i change the pitch to a chosen pitchvalue ?
Thank you very much
Hi!
Double-clic on your trigger and change the MIDI message!
That one i found out. But im a bit lost where to change it..
In the « pitch » field, you type the MIDI note number that you want!
Even if its a feature that would be really cool in IanniX, it’s not yet developed…
Hi!
IanniX is cartesian so controling a polar based spat. system looks strange?
Each cursor can have its own cartasian coordinate system, click on one cursor then Info —> Messages —> Bounds. So you can tell the range of values sent by cursor while running on curve.
Hope it helps!
Thats great thank you so much.
Hey, i have the same problem but it says
midi://midi_out/notef 1 trigger_value_y trigger_value_x trigger_duration
Where to change the velcity-duration and pitch ?
Also on the bottom i selected
Note Number : trigger_value_y – y mapped coordinate of the triggered trigger
Yes, just type directly a number in the field instead of trigger_value_y – y mapped coordinate of the triggered trigger
Please add it to the wishlist! 🙂
Hello, is there a way to insert html code color in Iannix? I imagine the background of the score changing continuously and the curves of the score also changing this way. Maybe some easy way to map it featured in iannix where I wouldn´t need to program (I don´t know code) (I took some c++ a while back and Im horrible at it), also a cool feature would be to add 3d printing and printing. Thank you. Maybe to map the color according to the 128 values that are between 0 and 1 in osc for the curves, and for the background of the score, for the color to control a parameter in live.
You want to have discrete notes? what I did to have c4 at y=0 is to custom map the cursor with the Y coordinate going from -73 to 55 and the y output from 0 to 1, that way each square on the grid on the y coodinate will equal half a tone, then just place triggers on the note you want
Hello! Im working with the timeline and a set of 5 curves, but instead of the timeline triggering the cursors which run off at their own individual speeds, I wanted to see If I could get the cursors of the 5 curves to run off to the position of the timelines cursor, so all cursors would be at the same time or x position of the timelines cursor.
Im planning on making music with continuums, and this depends on knowing exaclty what level on the note register is playing on the different curves at a given specific place in time. peace
Imagine incorporating this into Iannix! Magic leap!, a new morning https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmdXJy_IdNw
