Thinking ahead to a trip overseas and trying to pick an airline that actually makes the long-haul flight tolerable. I care more about consistency than luxury — things like boarding process, how delays are communicated, and whether support is helpful if connections get tight. I’m also curious if anyone’s had good or bad surprises with food quality or entertainment on long flights. Open to hearing about any airline that stood out, either way.

Plenty of travelers have shared their long-haul flight experiences through lufthansa reviews, especially on routes between North America and Europe. Some mention that boarding usually runs on time and gate staff stay organized even when flights are full. In-flight meals tend to be well-received for economy class, and entertainment systems are regularly updated with a good variety of movies and shows. A few noted that economy seating is on the firmer side, but legroom is comparable to other major carriers. Customer service on board is generally described as courteous, with multilingual crews ready to assist. Most agree it’s a solid choice for international travel.
