Hello Iannix team , I really enjoyed trying out your very inspiring applicaction !!!
I must admit though , that a manual is surely needed , and also some video tutorials will surely
be an eye opener
I am still test driving it !!!! and enjoying it immensly 😀
Hi!
We’ll hire an intern this summer to make this job!
Thanks for trying IanniX 🙂
Hello Guillaume , I live in Paris , I would happily help you guys out in anyway I can , I don’t have any degrees in programing , just a good understanding in max/msp , a good understanding in audio , bi lingual , work well with others.
This is my spontaneous application , I believe in your product + I have nothing planned this summer so what the hell !!!!
I am not saying I am the “Man” for the job , just a guy !
I answered you in private message (with the email that you provided).
ok i’m very new to IanniX but that might be to my advantage. while this is short of an actual manual, if and when i advance in Iannix i’ll be sure to write some how-to/tutorial stuff on it.
We’re a little bit late on the manuel but it may be available at the end of the month! We’ll also make some video-tutorial and the help of the community may be great. We’ll post some information about how to help us at the beginning of September.
great, cool, looking forward to it! good luck!
I understand a manual is being developed, but for my own use and to help learn IanniX I have been developing some notes in a Google Document. I thought I would make it public as other people may find it useful.
Here is a link to the document:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YoEhgkPOlsr3-dNrQu8D-8tO9A1uKCLaHdKWP8bTCRQ/edit?hl=en_US
I included a small section on overall application use and document management. There is also, I think, a complete list of scripting commands, properties and events, derived from reviewing the source code. However, I have not added details of many of the command parameters or behavior yet as I have not figured out much of this myself yet! I`ll be continuing to add details.
Also, I should warn that the documentation may, and probably does, contain errors as I have only been working with IanniX for a few days myself. If anyone notices errors or has more information to add, please let me know.
Also, if the IanniX official documentation is nearly about to be released and my documentation effort is a waste of time, please let me know. 🙂
– Chris
Hi!
I’m glad to announce the first version of the documentation : https://www.iannix.org/documentation/ (open it in a new tab).
It’s not public yet, we have to read again everything ang we’ll package the documentation with the software.
To Chris : I’m sorry you started an other documentation… We’ve finished ours today, and we plan to release it at the end of the month. I’ll have a look at your work, I’m sure we can use some of your doc.
No problem. 🙂
I made that documentation for my own learning. Only later did I decide to make it available.

And what do you think of our documentation/reference?
So far I’m finding it really nice. Excellent user interface! Thanks for posting it.
I’ll let you know other questions or feedback after using it for a while.

And thanks to my intern Etienne who wrote it and our web designer Matthieu who translated it 🙂
hi,
i know the manual actually exist, but a question arose while browsing it : there are apparently two different flavors of the manual, one on line, and one off line. Both seem related to latest release (0.8.42), but the offline declination has more tabs, yet the ‘reference’ tab seems to feature less content, even if said content is more ordonated and nicer… which documentation should i use ?
And more than that, i’ve been looking for some video tutorial on youtube, which don’t seem to exist. But is there a non video tutorial ? it could be nice…
anyway thanks !
Hi!
A release with correct documentation will be online next week & we’ll make video tutorials this week-end, so next week everything will be ok !
