in the project I’m working on, I want to draw lines from iannix cursors, I use vvvv to get osc data.
iannix scrambles the indexes of the curves- for whatever reason. Let’s just take an example with only two points, for simplicity. So, point A has an assigned index 1 and point B has an assigned index 2. Point A travels from position xy to position x1y1 and point B travels from position x’y’ to position x’1y’1. At some point in time and for some reason, the indexes of the two points get swapped for a milisecond or so, meaning that the point A briefly swaps places with point B. Visually, if you just draw the points A and B in v4 you cannot notice that, but my nodes will draw a line there, as the trajectory xy->x1y1 will briefly become xy->x’1y’1 and x’y’->x’1y’1 will become x’y’->x1y1.
Does anyone know where this comes from and how to solve this problem? I’m really confused because a lot of this project is about drawing lines and that’s impossible.
thanks in advance!

Bonjour,
dear all,
i want to paste two curves into one (to create a longer curve extended with one cursor), is it possible ?
thanks you.
Hi,
Sorry it’s not possible but if you’re OK with script/code, you can edit your .iannix file to merge the two curves!

Hello,
I’ve just found a problem with the connection between max for Ableton and Iannix.
When I open in Ableton a new Proyect and create a midi device in Max with UDPSEND 57120, it receives messages from Iannix, but once I try to reopen the Proyect, if I don´t open max window it receives messages, but when I open the max, it stops and doesn’t receive messages.
Anybody has a clue?
PLEASE NEED HELP!
Thanks!
How do i open the « Message editor » i Iannix.
Dble-click on a trigger or on a cursor (not the curve, the cursor)!
Hello, whenever i put my mouse over some objects i cannot highlight them to drag them to another place, can we fix this? selecting objects is difficult. another way to do this would be to be able to input in the 3d space boxes a coordinate to move an entire sequence of objects to an exact place without changing the interval structure of the sequence.
thanks Iannix
And how can I edit the pitch and velocity of a trigger object? it seems to be rather random.
And how can I resize the cursor in only length?

an addition: I use Logic ProX as the device for iannix
addition. I use logic proX as device
how can I edit the pitch and velocity and length of a trigger object? it seems to be rather random.
how can I resize the cursor only in length? thickness is working.

Hi,
I’ve downloaded the latest version of Iannix for Ubuntu and the program won’t start.
I have double-clicked on the IanniX Logo or on the Iannix.sh extension, but nothing’s loading.
I’ve been into the Terminal and enter the « chmod u+x IanniX » command, but it said that the Iannix directory isn’t existing.
My version of Ubuntu is this one :
Ubuntu 18.04.1 LTS
processor : Intel® Celeron(R) CPU N3350 @ 1.10GHz × 2
graphic card : Intel® HD Graphics 500 (Broxton 2×6)
GNOME : 3.28.2
Exploitation system : 64 bit
Disc !: 983.4 Go
Hi Thierry
Is it possible to control with iannix, a sequenzer such as logic 9 or logic pro X via Sysex ?
I hope this is not a stupid idee. Or is there possibly a methode to change OSC to Sysex bij conversion f.i.
